Kettlebells and Deadlifts

Pavel, in your book Russian Kettlebell Challenge, you state that kettlebell training is at least as good for your back as deadlifts. I am currently doing kettle bell snatches and deadlifts during the same workout.

I was thinking of dropping the deadlifts. Do you believe I can still work the same muscles by doing only kettlebell snatches?
